NW WakeSurf Association (NWWSA) is proud to announce its Second Annual NW WakeSurf Competition, to be held July 30, through August 1, 2010, at the Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, Washington.
The event kicks off on Friday with practice runs for registered competitors behind 2010 Centurion Enzo SV240 boats.
The competition will be held all day Saturday and a half day on Sunday, and will conclude with an awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

EZ SKI TRAINER PUTS THE FUN BACK INTO TEACHING YOUNG SKIERS
Heading for the lake but dreading the task of teaching another young skier? Don’t! EZ SKI takes the fear and frustration out of teaching new young skiers and replaces it with Fun! Young skiers will look forward to the immediate success possible on the EZ SKI. No more fighting with buoyant water skis and ski skimmers, binding, boat wakes or ropes!
Your child will board the EZ SKI right from the swim step of your boat. The boat observer holds the handle from one end of the 40’ rope and the child holds the single handle attached to the EZ SKI. If the child falls the observer simply lets go of the handle and the EZ SKI stays with the child. EZ Ski supports children up to 60 lbs, is easy to reboard in the water and is very stable while towing (10 mph maximum).

The single largest difference between the skis of the future and the skis of ten years ago is the amount of physical effort required by the skier to ride them. As water skiing evolves from a fight between boat and equipment to an efficient harmony between man and machine, so must the equipment. The Coefficient X introduces the first major departure from the traditional concave bottom ski of the last 70 years; Step Concave Technology. When a traditional ski moves through the water it drags along with it a layer of water molecules that stick to the bottom of the ski. In the science world, it is known as boundary layer theory. The Step Concave introduces a very small amount of turbulence into the concave, which interrupts the boundary layer, freeing the water molecules and thereby allowing the ski to move through the water with a decreased Coefficient of Drag.
The result is a more efficient ski shape that minimizes the amount of physical effort required by the skier so he or she can enjoy longer more efficient ski rides.
Available in 65", 67" and 69" to cover all weight range skiers.
